孤鳥露疲形, 舉目親何在, 明月代呼應.

In the cold pond, the crane's shadow passes,

A solitary bird reveals its weary form,

Raising my eyes, where are my kin?

The bright moon answers in their stead

 

流水低吟映翠影

 

流水低吟映翠影, 微風輕呼迎流螢, 綠楊垂柳陳兩岸, 丹楓孤亭作插屏.

Whispering waters reflect emerald hues, Gentle breezes carry drifting fireflies' light. Green willows and poplars line both sides, Crimson maples and solitary pavilions stand, an enchanting sight.

晨曦靈光開山脊, 春來翠影掩孤心, 清溪蜿蜒分兩岸, 景緻寧謐助修行. Morning light graces the mountain ridge, Spring arrives, green shadows cloak the solitary heart.

A clear stream winds, dividing the banks it kisses,

Serene landscapes aid the journey of spiritual art.

蒼蒼竹林寺,

杳杳鐘聲晚,

悠悠生死事,

踽踽僧獨行.

The verdant bamboo temple stands serene, Distant bell sounds echo in the evening. Life and death, a matter contemplative, A solitary monk, walks on, reflective.

霜雪如銀疑夢境

 

霜雪如銀疑夢境, 足踏冰刀任馳騁, 北國風光人陶醉, 好趁青春留倩影. Frost and snow like silver, a dreamland's view, With ice blades beneath, we freely pursue. The beauty of the northern land enchants the soul,

A parting song flows with the stream, away,

Birds of the same forest scatter, adding to dismay.

With cups of murky wine, freely drunk and high.

悠悠步履行秋水, 金睛火眼覓鮭魚, 一年一度豐饒月, 上天眷顧慰饞嘴. In leisurely stride by autumn’s stream, we tread with calm and grace, With keen eyes and fiery gaze, the salmon’s trail we trace. Once a year, the harvest moon in its fullness gleams,

Heaven’s blessing comforts hungry bears, fulfilling their dreams.

月下花柔獨自愁

 

月下花柔獨自愁, 窮究丹葯見皓首, 空度終生無成事, 死後只餘白骷髏. Under the moon, soft flowers weep alone in sorrow’s shroud, In quest of elixirs, white hair shows efforts proud. A lifetime spent in vain pursuits, no true deeds to name, In death, a mere white skeleton, left as memory’s claim.

大雪紛飛天地白

 

大雪紛飛天地白, 鬢髮如銀霜披額, 難得寒梅幾許紅, 點綴人間添色澤. Snowflakes dance, the world turns white and wide,

Hair like silver frost, rests upon the brow, aside. Rare crimson plum blossoms, through winter's cold unfold, Adding hues to life, in tales timelessly told.

一聲梧葉一聲秋

 

一聲梧葉一聲秋, 幾許殘枝幾許愁, 待得嚴冬春又至, 三夏苗壯早忘憂. One sound of the falling leaves, echoes autumn’s call,

A few bare branches, with fragments of sorrow small.

As winter passes, spring returns, with hope anew,

Summer's growth will flourish, and worries few.

兩岸耀繁麗, 雙橋落彩虹, 一衣帶水度, 眾川赴海途. On both shores, splendor shines bright, Twin bridges, rainbow's light. A ribbon of water to cross, Rivers flowing to the sea, their course.

雄鷹野馬共風雪

雄鷹野馬共風雪,

沐雨露宿情未闋,

簞食瓢飲殊不易,

天涯浪跡仍愉悅.

Eagle and wild horse braved the snow and gale,

Basking in rain and dew, their bond would not pale.

With meager meals and simple fare, life's trials they greet,

Yet across distant lands, their journey remains sweet.

去年相伴醉秋酒, 今春隻影度年華, 他朝功成歸里日, 終生與君偕白首. Last autumn, drunk in company, we savored autumn's wine, This spring, alone, I wander through the passage of time. Someday, when success brings you home, no longer shall we part, Together, for a lifetime, hand in hand, heart to heart.

秋湖月下紅楓靜,

 

秋湖月下紅楓靜, 天上人間兩相迎, 暗星映照彼崖岸, 儼然輕薄少年狂. By autumn lake beneath the moon, red maples calm and still, The heavens and the earthly realm, in harmony fulfil.

Dark stars weakly light the shores, their glow the moon does quench, Like reckless youth, so unaware, with arrogance entrenched.
 

心隨星月思無涯

 

心隨星月思無涯,

無垠太虛盡入懷,

高廣須彌納芥子,

凡夫難以脫紅塵.

Heart follows star and moon's endless skies,

Boundless void embraced within my mind's eyes.

The vastness of Mount Sumeru within a mustard seed lies,

Yet mere mortals can hardly escape worldly ties.

遐眺蒼穹尋遠景

遐眺蒼穹尋遠景, 極目天涯仍不逞, 低頭偶瞥歸帆影, 人間美事在目前. Gazing at the boundless sky for sights far and wide, At the horizon’s edge, still, no delight to bide, But in a glance downward, a returning sail we find,

Life’s beauty lies right here, before our eyes aligned.

 

花香拂過心舒暢

 

花香拂過心舒暢, 遠山終日披白頭, 目標明確人振奮, 繼續前進不遲疑. The scent of flowers brushes past, the heart soothes and sighs, Mountains afar wear their white crowns, under endless skies. With purpose clear, the spirit lifts, excitement does accrue, Onward we march without delay, our resolve we won't undo.

天涯海角留足印

 

天涯海角留足印, 執子之手示衷情, 日暮河山無變幻, 終老此愛永不移. From distant shores, we leave our tracks, Hand in hand, our love intact, Twilight falls, landscape remains unchanged, This love eternal, never ended.

如痴如夢如初見, 似電似露不留痕, 無人無我無壽者, 緣生緣滅緣由業. Like a trance, like a dream, a first encounter, Like lightning, like dew, leaving no trace. No self, no others, no lasting existence, Arising and fading through the dance of fate.

Carefree dreams of childhood’s days, Watching streams and clouds at play. Wet hands gently touch the fish, Arms raised high, flying like birds. Playmates sing the childhood tunes, Aimless chats in afternoons. Spring mornings bright and full of cheer, Nurture young seedlings dear.

水面悠悠雲霧繞, 去路茫茫且曠邈, 何妨寄情當下心, 豁然意解自在了. Waters calm, mist swirling all around, The road ahead, vast and profound. Why not anchor the heart in the present? Understand and find true freedom.

晨曦靜謐步悠悠,

四野無人獨樂遊,

忘仇無怨去憂愁,

人生至此復何求?

In the tranquil dawn, I stroll with ease,

Alone in the fields, where joy is my breeze.

Forget past grudges, let sorrows cease,

In this moment of life, what more could I please?

松風柔冷水聲長

 

松風柔冷水聲長, 曦輝彷似披彩裳, 峰巒杉林齊向上, 終生誓作頂天樑. The pine breeze whispers, the stream hums long,

Morning rays like a colorful gown adorn,

Peaks and fir forests rise together strong, A lifelong vow to be a pillar born.

獨釣寒秋月, 夜靜無人語,

水波憐孤寂, 微風輕歎息.

魚兒不知險, 予自覺幽危,

乘桴浮海上, 從余者其誰.

Alone, I fish in autumn's chill, Beneath the moon, the night is still.

No voices speak, no souls are near,

The water ripples, calm and clear.The breeze, so light, begins to sigh, 

it feels my solitude pass by.

The fish, unknowing of the snare,
While I sense danger in the air.

Upon a raft, adrift, I sail,
Who will follow this lonely trail?

仰觀白雲伴藍天

 

仰觀白雲伴藍天,

靜聽溪水唱無言,

細看魚兒河中樂,

倒臥青草席地眠.

Gazing up, white clouds drift with the blue sky,

Listening to the silent song of the stream,

Watching fish joyfully in the river,

Lying on green grass, I sleep in peace.

竹影蒼茫山路遠

 

竹影蒼茫山路遠, 朗朗雲天鏡高懸, 枝葉婆娑舞未斷, 高節清風愛獨行.

In the vastness of bamboo shadows, the mountain path stretches far,

Under the clear sky, the moon hangs high.

Branches and leaves dance gracefully, their rhythm never ceasing,

With noble spirit and integrity, I walk alone, unyielding.

昔日繁華今寂寞, 世態自然有起落, 修得八風不動心, 無憂無惱去苦樂.

Once bustling, now lonely, The world’s rise and fall, naturally. Cultivate a heart, unmoved by the eight winds, Free from worry, beyond joy and grief.

平湖斂春色,

遠山長冒雪,

Crimson leaves sway in autumn’s shadow,

The tranquil lake gathers spring’s hues,

Distant mountains long cloaked in snow,

Escaping the oppressive summer heat.

雪山倒影瀉寒意, 青松直豎伴春來, 料峭暖和同一景, 悲戚欣悅各自省.

The reflection of snowy mountains spills coldness,
Green pines stand tall, heralding spring’s arrival.
Chill and warmth coexist in the same scene,
Sorrow and joy, each reflects and contemplates.

瀑流飛洒伴松韻, 白練縝紛毫不紊, 淙淙徹暮譜新曲, 沾潤大地從無憾.

The waterfall cascades, accompanied by the melody of pines,

White threads scatter intricately, yet orderly.
Its murmuring continues till dusk, composing a new tune,

Nourishing the earth without regret.

紅梅傲骨堪堅石

 

紅梅傲骨堪堅石,

忒是嚴寒不示弱,

荷盡菊殘凌霜日,

暗香猶存顯豐碩.

The red plum’s proud spirit is as firm as stone,
In the harsh cold, it shows no weakness.
When the lotus fades and the chrysanthemum withers in the frost,
Its subtle fragrance remains, revealing its richness.
